Jesus has changed my life

Jesus has changed my life
Jesus has changed my life
Jesus has changed my life
I give him glory
Jesus has changed my life
Jesus has changed my life
Jesus has changed my life
I give him praise
Once I was a sinner
but I was unaware
I just was out for fun
to comfort me at night
But the fun of the night
was followed by emptyness
And I felt hunger for more life
Once I was a sinner
but I was unaware
When I hurt the people
that surrounded me
Being hurt myself
made me unrighteousness
until that day
that Jesus saved me
Once I was a sinner
and now I am aware
that Jesus is the one
who gives me joy and life
And his blessing each day
give healing to each suffer
His spirit and love
comfort me

How has Jesus’ presence in your life made you more thankful for the blessings you have received?

The first thing we have to do is being aware, that we have got a blessing. Many people say: I got my goods and what I have through my hard work. Then I say: ok, but who has given you the strength that you can work? Why are you healthy and able to go each day to work?

23 Whoso offereth praise glorifieth me: and to him that ordereth his conversation aright will I shew the salvation of God.

Psalm 50

I was 10 years ago very sick and at the point to die, but I awake from the coma without permanent brain damage, which was a miracle. So of course, I am thankful not only for the blessings, I am thankful, that God allows me to live and to stand up each morning without help from others.

1 A Psalm of David. The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.
2 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.
3 He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’ sake.
4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
5 Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.

Psalm 23

2. In what ways have you personally experienced redemption through Jesus’ love and forgiveness?

For to experience redemption, it is necessary to be aware, that we need a redeemer. Most people live like I describe in my song, they walk around, do their things, want to have fun, but are not aware, that they have sin in their life and should repent.

2 The LORD looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, and seek God.
3 They are all gone aside, they are all together become filthy: there is none that doeth good, no, not one.

Psalm 14

One moment, our listeners can say now. I am a good person and not a sinner. But this is what makes the situation tricky: We are not aware when we sin.

The heart is deceitful above all things , and desperately wicked: who can know it?

Jer 17,9

Sin is not doing right or wrong. Sin is something we have inherited from our grand grandparents Adam and Eve and we can’t get rid of it by our own will and power.

12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:
13 (For until the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there is no law.
14 Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam’s transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come.

Rom 5

When we are honest, we all have told a lie once in our life. And already telling one single lie makes us a sinner.

God cannot have fellowship with a sinner, because he is absolutely pure and holy. So we need Jesus to pay the price of sin for us and to make it possible that we have the fellowship with the living God and do not have to go to hell but to heaven. after this life on earth。

3. How do you strive to reveal your faith and the transformation Jesus has brought to your life in the world around you?

I don t seek to reveal my faith to the world around me, because the bible teaches, not to share with everybody. When somebody don t want to receive the gospel of Christ, I let him or her go.

But I always am open to talk about Jesus with the people around me and I watch out for an opportunity to tell the people about Jesus Christ and the work that he has done for them on Calvary.

But this comes often unexpected. I am just willing to tell and God opens a door to the heart of the person, that they are listening and asking more about the Gospel.

16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.
17 For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.

Romans 1

4. How do you envision the concept of paradise and living in the presence of Jesus? How does this hope shape your perspective on life?

The concept of paradise is something that gives meaning and destination to my life. I don t fear what happens when I will die and I have to present myself in eternity, since Jesus has arranged everything for me. He said, he will build a house for us in eternal life and there I will go some day.

2 In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

Johannes 14

Something which is interesting is, that the bible does not talk much about death, even this day will come, it talks more about eternal life and it says, that those who live with God will be young even they are already old.

So, I try to be like Henoch in the book of Genesis. He just walked with God and one day God has taken him away.

24 And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him.

Genesis 1

I live my everyday life, watching out, if there is something God wants me to do and knowing he is always with me.

But the bible teaches us about another place, where we go, when we don t receive Jesus as our Savior: It is the lake of fire, the hell. It is empty at the moment, but when Jesus comes back as a judge, everybody who was not saved will be judged on the white throne and then go to hell.

This is why it is written in Hebrew: Man will die once, after this comes judgement.

27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:

Hebrews 9

5 But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up unto thyself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God;
6 Who will render to every man according to his deeds:
7 To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life:
8 But unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath,
9 Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile;
10 But glory, honour, and peace, to every man that worketh good, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile:
11 For there is no respect of persons with God.

Romans 2

11 And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.
12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.
14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

Revelation 20

5. In the midst of the challenges and realities of the world, how do you maintain a peaceful heart and find solace in Jesus’ teachings?

Believing in Jesus is relationship. When I have a relationship with Jesus, I do not depend what other people believe or think about me. So if there is a conflict, I can stay calm and pray in my heart to Jesus that he helps me to come out of this uncomfortable situation.

And I remember that Paul has written, that we are not fighting against blood and flesh but against the powers of the darkness. So, if there is a problem, I forgive at once and let God work out the challenge for me.

11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

Eph 6

6. What steps do you take to actively live out your faith and share the love of Jesus with others, particularly in a world that may not always be receptive to it?

(Sister, pls explain this question in detailed description for our audiences, so that they will know how to concrete practice in their real lives)

For to live out my faith actively, I sing and pray for Jesus and I read the bible.

When we would like to know God, who he is, his character, his will and him as a person, we have to read the bible, because it is Gods love letter and Gods manual about life for us.

I already have read the bible at last 3 times from the beginning to the end.

But when we read the bible, there are many things we will not understand without help. So, we have to pray to God, that he sends his Holy Spirit to us and he will help us to understand what God wants to say through his word to us.

Without the Holy Spirit, the bible is only theology, like all the other books about religion. But with the Holy Spirit, it converts into a treasure. Every time you read it, you experience new things and the word is always fresh.

19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?

1 Cor 6

For to pray it is not necessary to go to a special place. I pray in my room or wherever I am, because God is always with me.

When the problem of sin is solved, I always have access to Gods throne, and can come whenever or wherever, he will hear me and answer. Sometimes the answer is no, but he will hear every praying of me.

Sharing my faith with others and contribute to others is in Gods hand, too. He says, we will do the good works he has prepared for us many time before. So we only have to have the will to do them and God will show us, if we should invite a person to have lunch with us or to support a missionary for example.

7. What exact glory did you give to God? (For example,1.2.3…)

There are many ways we can give glory to God:

  1. Respecting and holding his commandments.
Jesus said, those who love me will hold my commandments. Of course, we are saved by faith and grace. But Jesus taught us how to live according to his will and when we would like to give glory to God, we respect them
  2. Talking about God to other people
When we talk about God, how good he is and what he has done to us is giving glory to God, too
  3. Visiting people who suffer
God says, this is the true worship: to visit widows and Huerfano’s in their affliction. When we visit people who have a real hard live and we bring them the good news, that even in hard times God will take care of them and share with them time and contributing to them, this also is praising God.
  4. Singing and praying to God
The main reason why I have written these songs is, to give glory to God. To talk directly to God through music, when I write a worship song or to talk to others positive about God, when I testify through my music, that God exists.
